CLOSING OF WINTERLAND – PRINT

“It was a 5 hour long party on New Years Eve at The Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco, with breakfast at dawn. I was in the audience watching the Grateful Dead. Dan Aykroyd was standing in front of me, a large looming figure. I tapped him on the shoulder and asked him, “How did you like my poster?” He answered smugly, “My mother would like it…”. I recoiled and walked away a bit disappointed, but luckily backstage offered many positive “experiences”. What a night! ”
